Writing for Time

• No writing this morning. I’ve opened the file, but my bill paying employer has other tasks for me. That and I chat to much in fmwriters #
• Not so much writing or rewriting, but spent some time discussing my characters and plot. Took some notes and will apply them tonight. #

• 456 words so far today. Not terrible, but I should do better. Damn work getting in the way. Got a 4 hour car trip we’ll see what happens #
• So almost 1000 words today, but made it difficult to write with kids trying to get your attention constantly. #

• No writing last night and up to late to get up early and write. Off to work, but hopefully I can spend some downtime writing. #

Granted I am not “starting out” in the sense that I have just started writing.  I am starting out using my website to coordinate my writing.  I’m going to backup my writing here.  Possible posting little tidbits and just using this to communicate what I am doing with my writing.

Little bit about me before I complete my obligatory “About Me” page.  I have always been a writer.  When I was 11 I had a fiction story due in english class that was suppose to be 3 to 5 pages.  When I had reached roughly 20 pages I found that I was a little short on time.  I ended the story rather hastily and turned it in.  I got an A on the story simply for the fact I believe the teached didn’t want to read it all.  Not sure if it was any good and honestly I wish I would have kept it.  Where is it now?  I don’t know.  Maybe my mom had kept it.

My current work is a Science Fiction book.  It’s something like a SciFi horror, but only slightly.  I had been working on it a while (over a year with breaks) and then I read ‘Twilight’ etc…  So I’m wondering if I should dump the werewolf theme just because I don’t want people to read it for that reason.  Granted 30k words in is a little late to dump a book.  At least in my opinion.

Anyway.  I’ll post more as I figure it out.
